First Cobalt, a pure-play cobalt company, announced recently that drill results from its Iron Creek Cobalt Project in Idaho, US. This included an extended mineralization at depth which demonstrate additional mineralization between the two known zones as well as in the footwall of the Waite Zone. Key result highlights included 0.31% Co and 0.31% Cu over 32.3m and 0.32% Co and 0.20% Cu over 21.1m in the eastern portion of current resource area and massive sulphide intercepts of 1.12% Co within 5.3m of 0.49% Co between the main zones. These findings enhance the continuity and size of higher grade cobalt mineralization near the underground workings. In September, First Cobalt announced an Inferred Resource estimate at Iron Creek of 46.2 million pounds of cobalt and 176.2 million pounds of copper.
