Xilinx, Inc. (NASDAQ: XLNX) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Solarflare Communications, Inc., a California-based privately-held company. Solarflare is a provider of low latency networking solutions. Xilinx and Solarflare have been working jointly on advanced networking technology from 2017, with Xilinx making a strategic investment in Solarflare. The deal is expected to close in Q2 2020, subject to regulatory approvals.
