Boeing Co. and Lagos based Green Africa Airways announced a commitment for up to 100 737 MAX 8 aircraft valued at $11.7 billion. The commitment is split into 50 firm aircraft and 50 options representing the largest aircraft deal to date in Africa. Green Africa Airways is a value airline based in Lagos, Nigeria offering safe, quality and affordable air travel. It aims to be a significant contributor to the economic development of Nigeria and followed by the Pan African network.
