Visa Inc. has launched a new ePayment processing system called VisaNet in Argentina. The service will bring new methods of payment to Argentinian cardholders, shopkeepers and banking institutions. The launch of this new system will grow Visa’s share of domestic transaction processing in the Latin America and Caribbean region by approximately 10 percentage points. VisaNet processing will also enable cardholder access to new ways to pay, including digital wallets, real-time peer-to-peer (P2P) and contactless payments.
