Gilead Sciences Inc. has announced it will donate HIV prevention medication Truvada for up to 200,000 people in the United States. This initiative will run for the next 11 years for the prevention of new HIV infections. The donation announcement came just one day after the Company revelaed that a generic version of the daily pill would be available in September 2020.
