Apple has been found guilty of patent infringement and will compensate the patent holder Qualcomm $31 million for infringing its technology. The patents were related to the power consumption and speed of boot-up times for iPhones sold between mid-2017 and late-2018. In July 2017, Qualcomm had filed the law suit against Apple alleging the tech giant had used its technology without its permission in some versions of its popular iPhones.
