First Cobalt, a North American pure-play cobalt explorer recently announced a new partnership with Brown and Caldwell. They will be assisting First Cobalt in constructing an environmental baseline study strategy for their Iron Creek Project in Idaho, US. Brown and Caldwell is an environmental consulting, engineering, design, and construction firm with more than 55 offices across the US and Canada. Following the maiden resource estimate for Iron Creek in fall 2018, environmental and permitting are the next critical steps to progressing the project towards development. Along with the Iron Creek development, First Cobalt’s other key strategy for 2019 is to advance its cobalt refinery in Ontario, Canada.
