Tesla has appointed Zachary Kirkhorn as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to replace Deepak Ahuja. Mr. Kirkhorn, who joined Tesla in March 2010, has served in various roles throughout the Company’s finance department. As a part of compensation, Mr. Kirkhorn will be given a stock option grant of $12 million and a restricted stock unit grant of $4 million, which will vest over a four-year period. Tesla also appointed Vaibhav Taneja, who is currently serving as Corporate Controller, as its Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Taneja will receive a stock option grant of $6 million and a restricted stock unit grant of $2 million, which will vest over a four-year period.
