Leading U.S. financial institution, Bank of America, has filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademarks Office for a secure opportunity for the storage and custody of cryptocurrencies. As per the filing, the patent is for system of recording and storing data regarding cryptocurrency transactions made for enterprises. Further, the Company’s patent filing document states that it includes reproduction of a non-provisional application made in 2014. The U.S. Bank stresses on the development of adoption among enterprises and companies, concluding that such will lead to safe storage of cryptocurrencies.
