The FDA has approved AbbVie’s (ABBV) Skyrizi for the treatment of plaque psoriasis in adults who are candidates for systemic therapy or phototherapy. Plaque psoriasis, the most common form of psoriasis, appears as raised red patches covered with a silvery white buildup of dead skin cells or scale.
