Online payments giant PayPal (NASDAQ: PYPL) has announced an investment in Cambridge Blockchain. This marks the first-ever investment made by the Company in blockchain technology. Cambridge Blockchain is a startup that helps financial institutions and other companies manage sensitive data using shared ledgers. The financial terms of the investment have not yet disclosed.
