Novartis appointed Susanne Schaffert as the Chief Executive Officer for its Oncology business unit. Susanne is a veteran of Novartis spending more than 20 years with the Company. She spent the last 6 years as part of the Oncology business in numerous leadership roles, such as Region Head, Novartis Oncology Europe. Throughout these positions, she helped lead the organization through 5 years of sustained growth. Susanne will replace Liz Barrett, and join the Executive Committee on January 1, 2019.
