Harley-Davidson has acquired StaCyc, a maker of the 12 and 16 EDRIVE, electric-powered two-wheelers designed for kids. The acquisition would help the Company to build up its electric portfolio. As a subsidiary, Harley-Davidson-branded versions of StaCyc’s 12-inch and 16-inch wheeled eDrive models will be sold at select Harley-Davidson dealerships, starting in Q3 2019. StaCyc branded EDRIVES will continue to be sold through StaCyc’s existing distribution network.
