Andrew Anagnost, CEO of design software producer Autodesk, has expressed several concerns within the construction industry that blockchain technology may be capable of finding solutions for. One of the largest problems the construction industry faces is being tainted by tales of corruption, particularly in recent years. There have been cases of embezzlement of funds as well as people working without activities or transactions being tracked. By implementing blockchain technology, accountability and transparency will be introduced to the industry and in turn lessen the opportunity for corruption.
