AstraZeneca has filed a petition in a US court against Indian-based Aurobindo Pharma, alleging that Aurobindo is attempting to produce a generic version of its patented drug Daliresp (Roflumilast Tablet 500 mcg). The Company further alledges that Aurobindo would infringe the patents on 3 counts, and has requested the US court pass an injunction order against manufacturing, importing and selling the drug in the USA.
