Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. (NYSE: HPE) is in discussion to acquire supercomputer maker Cray Inc. If the transaction closes, it will mark HP Enterprise’s biggest deal since it started trading in 2015. With the acquisition of Cray, HPE would be able to strengthen its position in high-end computer systems against International Business Machines Corp. Although, no final agreements have been reached, according to sourcesa, deal could be announced as soon as this week.
