As part of its long term expansion plan of opening 400 new branches in new markets including 60 retail branches in Greater Boston and New England region, JPMorgan Chase recently opened its first retail branch in Greater Boston. JPMorgan has served the Greater Boston area for nearly two decades through its Investment Bank, Commercial Bank, and Private Bank. The opening of more retail branch adds to the firm’s current base of more than 800,000 consumers. Along with the opening of the new branch, the bank also announced $3 billion lending commitments for home & small businesses, as well as $1.1 million investments in local workforce development to prepare area Boston residents for in-demand jobs.
