Apple has cut its iPhone production forecast by 10% for the January-March period. This move signals a decrease in demand for iPhones. Overall planned production volume (old and new iPhones) will be reduced to about 40 million to 43 million units for the January-March quarter. Previous projections had reported production of between 47 million to 48 million units. On the revenue front, Apple has cut its guidance for Q1 to $84 billion from $89 to $93 billion previously.
