MetLife, Inc. (MET) on Thursday announced a series of changes to its senior leadership ranks in connection with its CEO transition, all of which are effective May 1, 2019.

MetLife, Inc. has announced changes to its senior leadership as a part of its CEO transition. The Company has appointed Michel Khalaf as its President, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member. Ramy Tadros, who is currently serving as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Risk Officer, will be promoted to the position of President of the U.S. business, succeeding Michel Khalaf. EVP and Head of Retirement & Income Solutions (RIS) Marlene Debel will replace Mr. Tadros as Chief Risk Officer. Graham Cox, EVP of Global Risk Management will become head of RIS, replacing Mr. Debel. All appointments will be effective May 1, 2019.
